WHO IS YOUR NOMINATION FOR THIS YEARS EDWARD H. JAHNZ AWARD?
The Founders’ Day Award is given to a Yacht Club member each year at the Annual Meeting in November. It is awarded to a member selected from nominations submitted by the membership of the club by a committee composed of past recipients. It acknowledges the long term service of a club member who has actively supported the Yacht Club in a variety of ways and has been a positive influence on the success of its programs.

The minimum qualifications are as follows:
- Must have been a club member in good standing for at least five (continuous) years.
- Must have served on the Executive Committee or a service committee such as Sailing, Fishing, Long Range Planning or other committee so designated by the Executive Committee.
- Must have made significant contributions (time, service, and participation) over a number of years.
So start looking at who, what, where and when NOW, and please submit your nomination via e-mail to the office (email@example.com) or via written note submitted to J.R. at the office before October 30. State the reasons you feel your nominee deserves the award.
